Marcus Rashford

Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford is now causing a lot of interest in the transfer market as he is reportedly unhappy at the club. Rashford made his United debut against Arsenal in 2016, scoring two goals to gift Manchester United a win.

The academy graduate has however been deployed as a substitute on the right wing compared to his preferred left side. Since the appointment of interim manager Ralf Rangnick,Rashford has started more from the bench than at any other time in his career. The England international has scored 5 goals and registered two assists from 26 appearances across all competitions this season.

Rashford has been closely monitored by Barcelona a few years ago but he instead extended his contract at old Trafford till the summer of 2023. However Paris Saint Germain are very open to landing Rashford this summer. The general belief with the Paris hierarchy is Rashford is a very valuable forward who can also play as a centre forward and they have made enquires about his availability this summer.

Manchester United however turned down the offer stating Rashford remains committed to his boyhood club. The United board will try their best to retain Rashford with Jesse Lingard set to depart on a free transfer.

Rashford,24, is also attracting interest in Italy with Juventus and Roma considering his services in the summer. Rashford is not for sale by Manchester United and the club are not changing their stance unless Rashford forces a move out of Old Trafford.
