Rashford And Lucia Loi Announce Engagement

Manchester United superstar Marcus Rashford is now engaged to his long-time girlfriend Lucia Loi after proposing in California whilst on holiday.  The star forward is well known for his superb football skills and more also for his work off the pitch which entails a lot of charity work. Rashford often collaborates with the UK government in most of his charities.

The England international has been with Lucia since their high school days and they have gone steady in their relationship. However, they suffered a temporary setback when they decided to ”separate” for a while. They reunited towards the end of last year after eight months apart.

Sources close to the couple have always believed they will end up married right from their time at Ashton-on-Mersey. ”They went out for a dinner night in LA and he(Marcus)proposed. It was very romantic.” the source said.

The 24-year-old striker shared photos on his Instagram page on Tuesday of him standing on a white rose-like bed in an embrace with his soon-to-be wife. Lucia, also 24 has been regarded as a strong pillar to Rashford and internal sources affirm she is much loved by Rashford’s family.

The source further explains that both couples’ families are in full support of their relationship and will continue to support them even in marriage. Rashford did not have the best of seasons in 2021/2022 following the surgery on his shoulder last summer. Rashford scored five PL goals in 29 appearances with Manchester United.

His holiday period will allow him to recharge and refresh ahead of the new season. The MBE holder was not called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Nations League and this is fully understood to be based on recent below-average performances. No worries for Rashy who is having the time of his life in LA with the love of his life.
