The Zanku Record boss admitted that although fatherhood has not affected his music creation, it has prompted him to reflect on his past actions. Zlatan noted that he was not proud of some of the wild antics he had engaged in to promote his music, especially when considering the example he would set for his son. Watching old videos of himself dancing almost unclad on the streets made him realize the challenge of correcting his son if he were to follow the same path.

“Since then, I started changing myself, I can’t be doing all these things. There are some places I can go to before, there are some arguments that are not necessary anymore. It has been a positive change anyway,” Zlatan said.

The 28-year-old rapper also touched on his recording process and how he has showcased his versatility throughout his career. Zlatan revealed that he has numerous tracks recorded and could easily release a 15-track album. He has become accustomed to working late into the night in his private studio, constantly recording and preparing for the next project.

Zlatan explained that in 2023, he decided to release music early in the year with his “Omo Ologo” EP, in contrast to previous years when he waited for the right time. This decision allows him to see more results and continue to develop as an artist and a father.
