Tinubu urged Nigerians to embrace this spirit and dedicate themselves to constructive and patriotic pursuits that would benefit the country.

Tinubu noted that for Christians worldwide, Easter commemorates the life of Jesus Christ, his ministry of service, and his supreme sacrifice for the salvation of humanity. The two-term former governor of Lagos State emphasized that the country could achieve its aspirations of a peaceful, united, strong, progressive, and prosperous nation if Nigerians shun divisive, parochial, ethnic, religious sentiments, and rivalries. Tinubu urged Nigerians to live harmoniously with their compatriots and work towards building a better Nigeria for all.
