Portable Clarifies His Collaboration with Dammy Krane Amidst Davido Controversy
Portable Defends Collaboration with Dammy Krane, Denies Diss Track Aimed at Davido

Nigerian musician, Habib Okikiola, who is famously known as Portable, has come forward to clarify that he did not intend to show any disrespect towards Davido. This clarification comes after videos surfaced from a studio session with Dammy Krane, where Portable emphasized that music is a business.

The artist behind the hit track ‘Zazu’ explained that his collaboration with Dammy Krane is centered around a prayer theme and should not be misconstrued as a diss track aimed at Davido, contrary to widespread speculation.

It’s worth noting that tensions have been brewing between Davido and Dammy Krane on the social media platform, X, primarily due to allegations regarding unpaid royalties for songs they had worked on together.

In Pidgin, Portable expressed, “Dammy Krane sang with me, and some people claimed we insulted Davido. Our collaboration was purely business-driven. Music is, after all, a business. Now, just because Dammy Krane has had disagreements with Davido, should we refrain from making music together? I urge both Uncle Dammy Krane and Uncle Davido to forgive each other.” (sic)
