The Oyo State Police Command conducted a raid on the apartment of the former chairman of the Park Management System, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary.

The raid took place at Diamond Hotel in Alakia, Ibadan, resulting in the recovery of a significant amount of ammunition and charms.

According to eyewitnesses, the police officers descended on the hotel after receiving intelligence regarding the Auxiliary’s whereabouts.

Upon their arrival, Auxiliary, sensing the presence of law enforcement, managed to escape the premises, leaving behind his mobile phone. The discarded phone is expected to provide valuable information for the ongoing investigation.

During the search, the police uncovered a cache of weapons, including 474 bullets, a menacing cutlass, and a substantial sum of cash. These discoveries have raised concerns among the security forces about the potential danger posed by the former chairman and his associates.

Although Auxiliary managed to elude capture, the police were able to apprehend several individuals believed to be his loyalists. The arrested individuals are currently in police custody, providing investigators with vital leads to aid in the ongoing probe.
