The Liberian police have announced the arrest of Nicholas Jack Davies, known as George Wade, the estranged lover of Nollywood actress Empress Njamah.
Recall that a video had surfaced online where the estranged lover of Empress Njamah was handcuffed by the Liberian police.
During a press conference organized by the Liberian police, it was revealed that about 20 Liberian women came forward with complaints against the suspect, who had been operating in Nigeria under the name Josh Wade.
The women reported being duped and robbed of valuable items by Davies, who used the same modus operandi he used on Empress Njamah.
The Chief of Police disclosed that Davies was apprehended while perfecting plans to defraud another victim. He added that the arrest of Davies had brought relief to many people who had fallen victim to his scams.
The police urged other potential victims of Davies to come forward and report their experiences, stating that the arrest of the suspect was part of their ongoing effort to rid society of criminal elements.
The police have assured the public that Davies would be prosecuted according to the laws of the land, and justice would be served.
