Pedro Rodriguez has played his final game for Chelsea as he prepares to leave the Stamford Bridge club. Reports say the player will be on his way to joining Italian club Roma.
Pedro who joined Chelsea in 2015 won the Premier League, FA Cup and the Europa League. Pedro has bid Chelsea fans farewell as he played his final game for the Premier League club in their 2-0 win over Wolves with goals from Mason Mount and Olivier Giroud.
Fabregas has been applauded for bringing the former Barcelona winger to the Stamford Bridge as the player now bids emotional farewell to the club. The 32-year-old joined the Blues from Barcelona in 2015 and won the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League before his exit.
On the 2019/2020 season final day, the player posted several photos on his social media handles which also included how he was being celebrated in the dressing room. He wrote:
“My last game at Stamford Bridge.” “Thanks to every fan for your support through this years, to the club for giving me the chance of being a Blue and to my team-mates. “You’ll be in my heart forever. Now let’s fight for FA Cup trophy!!! BIG BLUE FAMILY.” Former Chelsea star Fabregas replied:
“What a career you had with the Blues. “Thank God you listened, trusted me and landed at the right place.”
