Ogun State Governor Emphasizes Progress and Inclusivity
Ogun State Gears Up for Future Development and Good Governance

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has emphasized that the significant progress witnessed in the state over the past four years, during his tenure, reflects the realization of his ‘Building Our Future Together Agenda’ and the ISEYA mantra of his administration. He expressed optimism that the pace of development in the state would continue to rise.

Speaking during the Egba Division Townhall meeting held at the Cultural Center, Kuto, Abeokuta, in preparation for the 2024–2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and the 2024 Appropriation Bill, Governor Abiodun, represented by his deputy, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, highlighted that the policies and programs of his government were designed to benefit the majority of the population, regardless of their ethnic, religious, political affiliation, or social status. He underscored the strategic approach taken to formulate and implement these policies, with a primary focus on the well-being and welfare of the people.

The governor reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to good governance, rapid development, and democratic principles, emphasizing transparency, accountability, fairness, and justice. He called on all stakeholders to collaborate in the collective effort of ‘building our future together.’

In a goodwill message, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, the Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor, reaffirmed the government’s dedication to increased budgeting and inclusivity as part of its strategy to advance the state. He emphasized that the townhall meeting reflected the administration’s sincere commitment to good governance and its determination to formulate policies that directly benefit the state’s citizens.
