Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday, visited the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwunsi, in Ile-Ife, Osun State on Monday.
The visit is coming a few weeks after Nkechi “joked” about becoming the seventh wife of the monarch.
In a short statement with the photo of herself and Ooni, the actress said “I am patiently waiting for my turn”.
“Ooni of Ife sir, I am patiently waiting for my turn. thank you in advance, sir.”
The post was not well accepted by Nigerians as many slut-shamed the actress but she got an invitation to the palace after the ‘joke.’
Giving details of her recent visit to the palace, Nkechi on her Instagram Page said she was invited by the fifth wife of Ooni, Queen Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi as one of the judges for Queen Moremi Ajasoro (QMA) International Competition.
“It was an honour to be invited to the palace by her Royal majesty Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi as one of the judges for @qmainternational.
Indeed we be doing soo much good in the eyes of strangers. I do not take this opportunity and privilege for granted ma. When I got that call, I thought the king was going to put me in prison but one mind told me NBS go on that trip you might be wrong, now it doesn’t matter what name you call me, Olosho, ashawo, dirty, razz, uncouth, in fact, I have been called diff names on this app, but I did nothing but focus! The Nollywood actress also set tongues rolling in a post she shared on her Instagram page when she visited Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwunsi, in his palace at Ile-Ife, Osun State.
She shared a photo of her and the monarch. Nkechi pointed out the monarch’s jovial nature while noting that she hasn’t laughed so hard in a long time.
