Nigerian actor Jigan Baba Oja has announced his intention to take legal action against singer Mohbad over his upcoming single titled “Ask About Me.”
The song, which is scheduled to be released on April 14th, 2023, has landed the singer in trouble, even before its official release.
Jigan Baba Oja claims that he listened to the song’s snippet released by Mohbad, and noticed that the singer was mocking his disability.
According to Jigan, Mohbad’s lyrics are offensive and insulting and have caused him great emotional distress.
This is not the first time that Jigan Baba Oja has been targeted in this way. He recently called out Asake for mocking him in one of his songs.
Speaking out about his decision to sue Mohbad, Jigan Baba Oja said, “I am taking this up against @iammohbad and I am going to charge him 100 million! This will sound like a big lesson to others!”

The actor hopes that by taking legal action, he will be able to raise awareness about the need to respect people’s disabilities and prevent other artists from using their platforms to belittle others.
