Nigerian sprinter Tobi Amusan has secured the top spot in the women’s 100 metres hurdles event at the Stockholm Diamond League, posting an impressive time of 12.52 seconds. Amusan outperformed Sarah Lavin, who achieved a personal best with her time of 12.73 seconds, and Pia Skrzyszowska, who came in third with a time of 12.78 seconds.

This victory follows Amusan’s strong showing at the Lausanne Diamond League on Friday, where she placed second in the 100 metres hurdles event. The race was won by Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico with a time of 12.40 seconds. Amusan equaled her personal best for the season with a time of 12.47 seconds, while Tia Jones secured third position with a time of 12.51 seconds.

This win signifies an improvement for Amusan, who had previously finished third behind Camacho-Quinn and Jones at the Ostra Continental Tour event on Tuesday.
