Al-Nassr Football Club’s recently appointed manager, Luis Castro, has expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to work alongside renowned forward Cristiano Ronaldo, acknowledging the Portuguese star’s immense influence on his teammates.

Following his tenure as head coach of Porto, Castro assumed his position at the Saudi Pro League club on July 6, and wasted no time in praising the acquisition of Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr last season.

“We are thrilled to have one of the greatest players in football history in our ranks. It is truly a cause for celebration to be able to work with him [Ronaldo], as he continues to inspire and motivate many of our colleagues on a daily basis,” Castro stated in an interview with Record.

With 19 appearances for Al-Nassr in the previous season, Ronaldo made a significant impact by netting 14 goals and providing two assists across various competitions, solidifying his importance to the team’s overall performance.
