Moyes Insists Rice is Worth More than £75m
Declan Rice

West Ham manager David Moyes believes his midfielder Declan Rice is being underpriced in the transfer market. The former Manchester United boss feels Rice has done so  much at a young age and holds firmly that £75m is not a good enoien bid from any club.

Rice is one of the best defensive midfielders in football today with Joshua Kimmich and Casemiro ahead of him in the DM position. Rice has caught the eye of many clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United. The 22-year-old is already captaining the Hammers more frequently, with club legend Mark Noble AKA “Mr West Ham” set to hang his boots at the end of the season after a 23-year career at East London.

Rice is appreciated by various clubs and coaches and is seen as a player with an elite mentality. The England international is happy at West Ham and a move out of the London is not particularly on the table for Rice.

Should the right bid come however, the Hammers will be keen on starting negotiations and will want to cash in big with Rice, who is an academy graduate at the club. Notably,Declan Rice was eligible to play for Ireland and was very close to choosing the Eires before Gareth Southgate was able to convince him. Newcastle are also monitoring Rice and could make a swoop to hijack him from West Ham as the summer nears.
