Eric Bailly joined Manchester United for around £35m in 2016 and was one of Jose Mourinho’s early signings when he signed for United in 2016. Bailly has, however, struggled with injuries and has thus not been a key figure at the club in the last couple of years.  Bailly is well-liked by the fans but has still not been able to be fit to play a full season unhampered by injuries.

The club is no longer interested in keeping the Ivorian and he is set to look for options elsewhere and will also consider options outside England if he is guaranteed regular minutes. Bailly has not held talks with any club as of recent and it is looking as though he will wait till the summer before he concludes on his next destination.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also no longer wanted at Manchester United as the right-back has had a series of dismal performances in recent months. The incoming manager Erik ten Hag is keen on overhauling the United squad and his plans could be hatched even before the opening of the transfer window. With the clearout at Old Trafford imminent, ten Hag is hoping to have only those he wishes to remain at the club, and then he can begin transfers on the market.

Wan-Bissaka signed from Crystal Palace in 2019 for a fee to be around £50m, becoming the Eagles’ biggest sale for a player in the clubs’ history and becoming Manchester United’s first choice at right-back. The former England U-21 defender has not featured a great deal under interim boss Ralf Rangnick, and there have been doubts over his future at the club.

Crystal Palace are interested in buying back their academy graduate and it is looking as though a return to Selhurst Park will be well received by the 24-year-old. Other clubs interested in Wan-Bissaka are Brentford, and Serie A side Torino are also amongst a few clubs tipped to go for the full-back this summer.

No formal agreements or meetings have been made between these players’ agents with other clubs as of yet, but it is only a matter of time before they are contacted. Eric Bailly has been on the radar of Southampton and Leicester but both teams are yet to come forward for a transfer bid.
