Nigerian Music Superstar Kizz Daniel has been released and he is going to arrive in Nigeria today after being arrested in Tanzania for failing to perform at his concert.
This update was made public by Nigerians in the diaspora’s official Twitter page.
“UPDATE: Kizz Daniel @KizzDaniel has been released. His legal team will however report back to the police tomorrow while he will subsequently return to Nigeria,” the statement reads.
It was earlier reported that the affected show promoters in Tanzania had mobilized for his arrest over the singer’s alleged refusal to perform at his concert on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
The Buga crooner who arrived in the country on Sunday morning reportedly refused to perform due to the unavailability of his clothes.
The fans, some of who paid as much as $5000 for tables, later ripped the hall apart in frustration which led to his arrest by the police.
