Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has been appointed as the National Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
The National Secretary of AGN, Abubakar Yakubu, announced the news in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos.
According to Yakubu, Henshaw was chosen during a by-election on January 9 during a special National Executive Council meeting to fill several empty positions.
Furthermore, Michael Yusuf won over Rilwan Ibiefo to become the vice president of AGN for the North-West zone, succeeding Alhaji Wash Waziri who held the position in the previous tenure.
Yakubu stated that Henshaw will be responsible for the distribution of strategic communication among members and non-members of the guild. The AGN is the largest actors association in the African cultural sector.
