Jake Paul has been dominating the boxing ring lately with Saturday his latest victory. The YouTube star extended his unbeaten record across six fights.

He was victorious over UFC legend Anderson Silva in round 8 of their match, after the 47-year-old Brazilian was knocked down.

It wasn’t a knockout, but shortly after that Paul won on points, as the judges scored it 77-74, 78-73 and 78-73 for the 25-year-old.

Paul said he was grateful for Silva and spoke very highly of him.

“I want to say thank you to Anderson, he inspired me to be great,” he told the crowd.

“Without him, we wouldn’t have a fight this year.

“I have nothing but respect for him. I started boxing two and a half years ago and I’ve just beaten one of the best strikers ever.”

After the big win, the American fighter wasn’t so kind and called out the big-name opponents he had faced.

“I want Nate Diaz, whose a b**ch,” he stated.

“He tried to come into my locker room. He tried to cause some st and then he always leaves the fking arena.

“So, Nate Diaz, stop being a b**ch and fight me.

“And Canelo Alvarez, too.”

“You guys said I couldn’t beat a legend like Anderson Silva. But then I just did it, so why can’t I beat Canelo?”

It’s not clear if Paul will be able to fight Diaz or Canelo next. The latter is very unlikely as he is still at the peak of his own boxing career and fighting for titles, in addition to being a father of four and a reality TV star.

In any case, this win over a UFC legend has helped to raise Paul’s stock. His next bout should be an even bigger event than this one, which drew 14,000 excited fans.
