iPhone 15 series to feature Wi-Fi 6E technology, thinner bezels and more: Report According to a recent report, the upcoming iPhone 15 series will feature Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. The 2023 flagship smartphones from Apple are expected to include four models, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max/ iPhone 15 Ultra. It is currently unclear whether Wi-Fi 6E will be available on all iPhone 15 models or just the Pro models. Apple has previously included this feature on its MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models.

The Wi-Fi 6E technology utilizes 6GHz bands in addition to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands supported by Wi-Fi 6 technology. This extended wireless band support allows for faster transfer speeds, lower latency, and reduced signal interference.

Rumors had previously suggested that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 lineups would include Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, but these rumors did not come to fruition. Now that Apple has begun offering this technology on other products, it is likely that we will see it in the iPhone 15 lineup.

The iPhone 15 series is expected to be released in September of this year. A recent report also suggests that the Pro models will have thinner bezels than previous models and may feature curved edges on the cover glass, but with a flat display. Additionally, the Pro models may also have solid-state volume buttons and additional Taptic Engines to simulate the feel of pressing physical buttons.
