French footballer and Arsenal’s centre-back, Laurent Koscielny has revealed that he is not ready to leave the Premier League club for other Leagues.
The 31-year-old stated, in spite of detailed enthusiasm from Ligue 1 side, Olympique de Marseille, he is not going anywhere.
The France international, who signed another long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium in January, has been connected with a move to Marseille amid the nearby season transfer window by the French media.
When I initially arrived, I didn’t consider to what extent I would remain at this club – yet now I am beginning my eighth season so I am exceptionally content with this, Koscielny told the club site (www.arsenal.com).
I have a long contract with Arsenal and I have (no reason) to leave the club. I am here to make the most of my job and give everything for the team, and get the best outcomes for the club. If I can do all of that, then I am happy.
Koscielny said he felt incredible reliability towards Arsene Wenger, whom he called a rousing figure.
I’m ever loyal to this club and to the manager (Wenger) as well,” Koscielny included.
I have remained here for a long time and I have learnt a ton from him, so I am glad to be here with him and to battle for him since he is an extraordinary individual.
Arsenal will be meeting Premier League champion, Chelsea in the Community Shield match on August 6 preceding hosting Leicester City in their opening league game.
