Hushpuppi has hired the services of another top-rated lawyer to represent him in California.
Reports have revealed that Gal Pissetzky, Hushpuppi’s lawyer, will now be supported by Vicki Podberesky of Andrues/Podberesky Law Firm based in Los Angeles.
Pissetzky is only licensed to practice in Chicago and since Hushpuppi’s trial will now take place in California, Podberesky has come on board to represent him there.
Andrues/Podberesky law firm specializes in representing individuals both in state and federal criminal matters, as well as companies and individuals in administrative and in-house investigations.
According to Premium Times, Mrs. Podberesky was hired as the local counsel to work with Pissetzky after Justice Pedro V. Castillo of the US court in California granted the Chicago lawyer’s pro hac vice request.
Pissetzky, who also spoke with the publication, said that Hushpuppi’s case is far from being set for trial as the US government is yet to turn over all the evidence.
He added that the date for the next court appearance has not been released yet.
