Speaking in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the 43-year-old actor stated that he thinks about his mother every day and misses everything about her, even six years after her death.

He noted that he owes his success to his mother as she taught him to read at a young age and instilled compassion and empathy in him. She also taught him the art of letting go, a valuable lesson that has helped him throughout his life.

“There is something that will happen in a day that I will remember, that’s how I know how much impact she left,” he said.

However, Bovi’s relationship with his father is described as “complicated” and not very “friendly.” While he grew up in a home with his father, he says they were not close friends.

He also revealed that he wants to raise his own children differently from how he was raised under his dad.

“I don’t want to raise my kids the way I grew up under my old man, so, I am trying to be different,” he said.

Bovi, who got married to Kris Asimonye Ugboma in 2007, is blessed with three children named Elena, David, and Chuchu Ugboma.

The comedian’s openness about his family relationships and the impact of his mother’s teachings has won him the admiration of many of his fans, who appreciate his honesty and vulnerability.
