GTBank Now Allows Customers Retrieve Electricity Token Online
It’s a common problem for customers to recharge their prepaid electric meter and not receive token immediately. Many times, one would have to reach out to the customer care centre to have it resolved.
GTBank has made introduced a new menu on its banking app called “Electricity Token Retrieval”. This is accessible via the GTWorld App.
It could be frustrating when your token message is delayed (either via e-mail or SMS). Below are the following steps to take to get your electricity token immediately after recharge:
- Step 1: Log on to GTWorld App on your phone
- Step 2: Go to Request on the Menu and select “Electricity Token Retrieval”
Alternatively, you can also retrieve your electricity token via Internet Banking with the following steps:
- Step 1: Log in to Internet Banking from the bank’s website
- Step 2: Go to Electricity Payment and Select “Token Retrieval”
