This assurance was conveyed during the formal swearing-in ceremony of 731 Batch B Stream 1 Corps members, a cohort consisting of 391 males and 340 females. The event took place at the temporary orientation camp in Amada, located within the Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.

During the ceremony, the Chief Judge of Gombe, Halima Mohammed, represented by Zainab Rasheed, officiated the administration of the oath of allegiance to the newly inducted corps members. Notably, the Governor was unable to attend the event in person and was thus represented by the acting Head of Civil Service, Kassim Abdullahi.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Yahaya’s representative, Abdullahi, emphatically stated, “Let me assure you that the government is unwavering in its commitment to guaranteeing the security, welfare, and overall well-being of every corps member deployed to the State. We shall maintain an unwavering collaboration with the security agencies in the State to ensure security within and beyond the camp, ensuring your utmost safety.”

The Governor’s pledge comes as a reassuring measure to all corps members serving in Gombe State, as their safety remains a top priority for the government. With this firm commitment to cooperation with the security agencies, corps members can expect enhanced protection throughout their stay in the State.

As the orientation program progresses, it is expected that the Gombe State Government will continue to implement measures aimed at fostering a conducive environment for the corps members’ personal development and productivity. Through its proactive collaboration with the security agencies, the government seeks to fortify security arrangements both within and outside the camp premises, ensuring that all corps members can carry out their assigned duties without fear or hindrance.
