Funke Akindele is in the news again, this time for something good.
The Nollywood actress has reportedly gifted veteran actor Kayode Olasehinde Ajirebi a.k.a. Pa James a new house after his former abode was sacked by a flood.
Pa James was recently the topic of conversation on social media after news spread that his house had been ruined by flood for the umpteenth time.
Images of the ruined shelter located at Oke Isagun community of Oke Odo Local Government Area in Lagos State, showed its dilapidated state owing to it having been ransacked by the flood.
Nigerians had called for help on behalf of the aging actor and a knight in shining armor to the rescue, Funke Akindele responded.
The good news was shared by actress Kemi Korede, and she asked fans to show appreciation to Funke for the noble gesture, revealing in a post on social media how her colleague had come to the aid of Pa James.
She wrote:
On behalf of PA JAMES, I Want to say Big thank you to @funkejenifaakindele for the new apartment given to him by you. God bless you so much for your good heart. your type is so rare..you are a gem. Almighty God will continue to make way for you where dier seems to be no way.”
