In a recent interview, renowned fuji maestro, Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has shared some words of wisdom for emerging artistes in the music industry. His advice comes in the aftermath of the tragic passing of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known to fans as Mohbad.

Obesere, famed for his hit “Egungun be Careful,” spoke to talkGlitz.com, emphasizing the importance of understanding the long-term consequences of contractual agreements. “The decisions made today shape the trajectory of tomorrow. It’s crucial for young talents to thoroughly review their contracts, seeking guidance from knowledgeable individuals, even if they can’t afford legal representation,” he advised. “Above all, seeking divine direction in all endeavors is paramount.”

The fuji legend also called upon the relevant authorities to ensure justice for the late Mohbad. “The world is watching, and it’s imperative that every aspect of this case is thoroughly investigated,” he remarked.

Reflecting on the posthumous fame that Mohbad has garnered, Obesere expressed his sorrow. “It’s disheartening to see an artist gain more recognition in death than in life. I wasn’t familiar with Mohbad or his music until his unfortunate demise. His story serves as a poignant reminder of the unpredictable nature of life and the music industry,” he concluded.
