On Wednesday, fans of popular Nollywood actress and movie producer, Genevieve Nnaji, came together to celebrate her birthday despite her absence on social media platforms. The actress, who has been a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry for over two decades, had caused concern amongst her fans in May 2022, when she deleted all her Instagram posts and unfollowed everyone.
Since then, Nnaji has remained largely absent from the Nollywood scene and social media, much to the dismay of her fans. However, she made a surprise appearance at the 2022 edition of the Creative Africa Nexus, where she was one of the speakers at the event.
To mark her special day, fans flooded social media with well wishes and messages of adoration for the talented actress. Twitter user @lindatongoI wrote, “It’s world Genevieve Nnaji’s day!
