Fancy Acholonu revealed she and her ex-fiance, actor Alex Ekubo had never had sex during five years of relationship.
In a recent interview, she disclosed that despite not having sex with her, she discovered he was cheating on her with women.
Fancy ended her engagement to Alex months before their wedding and exposed her failed engagement and five-year relationship with him.
However, in her Instagram post, she later publicly apologized to her ex-fiance, Alex. But days after her apology, she withdrew the Instagram apology to her ex-lover over the public disgrace trailing the botched engagement.
They have been making headlines since Acholonu apologized to Alex for calling off their wedding in 2021.
Fancy said she was not bothered about not getting intimate with him initially because he cited religious beliefs as his reason for abstaining from sex.
She said she did not break up with the actor because of the controversies surrounding his sexuality.
In her words, she said, “His sexuality is not the reason I broke up with him. I’m very open-minded so regardless of what he prefers, love is love for me. I loved him for his personality and heart nothing more
“He didn’t want to be with me intimately which was confusing and difficult for me to understand especially for 5 years so it did affect my self-esteem as I kept myself for him and when he would cheat with curvy women he wouldn’t perform with them either so I don’t know, I can’t confirm or deny his sexuality but for me, I loved him despite all and he still found ways to hurt me.”
“Yes (five years without intimacy). That is embarrassingly true. When I met him I didn’t have much experience so it was easy to convince me that his decision was because of his religion
But as he would constantly cheat and yes I caught him, it would hurt me because that’s not part of the religious belief he made our celibacy to be.
Honestly, this whole thing has been complicated beyond words so it’s unhealthy for me to continue this relationship.
I guess I needed this post. He begged me to do it so I could see that he intended to clean up his image.”
