“Empire” star Bryshere Gray also known as Yazz, has been taken into custody again. He pleaded guilty last year to aggravated assault, and now he’s being accused of violating his probation.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Maricopa PD got called to an incident last week after a woman told officers that they were in a relationship but his behaviour was escalating and she felt unsafe.
The document says the woman claimed that Gray threw a box of food at her and pulled her hair. In addition, she told the police about previous times Gray shouted angrily at her.
According to law enforcement, Gray had multiple run-ins with law enforcement in the past, including a domestic disturbance call last month.
Gray allegedly failed to inform his probation officer about the break-ins, but that was a big mistake. A judge signed a warrant for his arrest and he’s now behind bars.
As we reported, Gray pled guilty to felony aggravated assault in 2023. Prior to this recent incident, he had a standoff with a SWAT team and pled guilty in 2021.
After pleading guilty, Gray was sentenced to 10 days in county jail and placed on 3 years of probation.
