Nollywood actress, Obot Etuk has advised the youths on the ungrateful words they use against the efforts of their parents whenever they have the opportunity to give a victory speech.
In a post on her Instagram page, she advised them to praise their parents and make them feel better.
She noted how many are fond of not praising the efforts of their parents, by saying they come from nothing.
She warned them to stop embarrassing their parents. She stated that whatever they had, was what their parents could afford and they gave it with love.
She wrote, “In your victory speech ladies and gentlemen, never embarrass the effort of your parents by saying you came from nothing.
Whatever you had then was what they could afford. And they gave it to you with love.
Make them feel better by praising them.
Remember, we reap what we sow.
