Nigerian DJ, Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, has announced the launch of a scholarship fund to support African students at the University of Oxford.

The Oxford graduate shared the good news on her Instagram page, stating that she is proud to launch the “Cuppy Africa Oxford Fund”.

The scholarship fund is aimed at empowering and supporting any African graduate student at Oxford University.

DJ Cuppy noted that the partnership means a lot to her, especially after recently graduating with an MSc from the prestigious university.

She expressed her excitement about contributing to the development of future leaders from the African continent by providing them with access to the necessary skills, resources, and networks to maximize their impact.

She wrote: “Proud to launch the Cuppy Africa Oxford Fund! I just graduated from Oxford Uni and so this partnership means a lot to me.

“This £100,000 gift is in support of African Graduate students. It aims to support future leaders from the continent by enabling them to access the necessary skills, resources, and networks to maximize their impact.

“Over the next 10 years, I hope to support those in their education journeys and reach their full potential during their time at Oxford and beyond”.
