Diego Costa has told Chelsea to approve his exit after he agreed on terms with Atletico Madrid, says will not return to Chelsea for pre-season training.
The Chelsea star striker, Diego Costa has threatened to refuse to show up for pre-season training today, if Chelsea continues to block his move away to Atletico Madrid this summer.
Chelsea Manager, Antonio Conte told Diego Costa via text that he was no longer needed at Stamford Bridge and he has been searching for a new club ever since.
Diego Costa is believed to be eager to re-join Atletico Madrid despite the club being hit with a transfer ban till January 2018.
Atletico Madrid can sign players, but new additions will not be able to play until January, 2018.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Diego Costa remains desperate to join Atletico Madrid and has moved to force the transfer back to Spain.
However, Diego Costa is still on holiday in Brazil despite the fact he is expected to return for pre-season training at Chelsea today.
Antonio Conte’s harsh text has soured his relationship with Costa considerably and the attacker does not want to see the Chelsea manager again.
Ateltico Madrid have already agreed personal terms with Diego Costa, but Chelsea have so far knocked back their offers.
A bid of £26.5million was rejected by Chelsea as the Blues look for a much higher figure for one of the Premier League’s top goalscorers.
Nevertheless, Diego Costa returned to his best last season and helped fire Chelsea to the Premier League title.
But, Conte has planned for a future without the influential striker after a reported bust-up earlier this year.
Should Costa fail to turn up for pre-season today, Chelsea will undoubtedly start docking his wages, isn’t it? but the beginning still remain unfold.
