Kanye West may have to take back his congratulatory message to his wife Kim Kardashian as Forbes has issued a statement refuting claims that she has joined the billionaire gang.
Forbes’ statement comes after recent reports claimed that the reality star is now a billionaire following the sale of her beauty line to American multinational beauty company, COTY, for $200 million.
Kanye West had taken to social media on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, to congratulate his wife after her deal with COTY in a post which can be seen below.
Forbes, addressing the issue, revealed that the 39-year-old reality star and businesswoman is worth $900 million after the deal with COTY.
Even though the deal values Kim’s KKW Beauty at $1 billion, she is not a billionaire in the practical sense.
Forbes recently revoked Kim’s sister Kylie Jenner’s billionaire title, accusing her of lying about company figures and forging tax returns, suggesting she is worth around $900 million in its title ‘Inside Kylie Jenner’s Web of Lies – and Why She’s No Longer a Billionaire.’
