Popular Nigerian comedian, Ganiyu Kehinde, also known as ljoba Lande, who had been missing since Sunday, March 26, has finally broken his silence regarding his disappearance. In an Instagram Live on Thursday, the comedian revealed that he had not been kidnapped, but had intentionally left his home due to a spiritual attack.

The comedian’s wife had previously posted a video on his Instagram page, expressing her confusion over her husband’s disappearance, as he had left home without his phone. However, the comedian explained that he left intentionally because all the prophecies he had heard about himself were coming to pass.

He elaborated on the prophecies, stating that a prophet had told him that he would go broke, get into debt, sell his car, and walk to all the places he once drove to. This revelation had troubled him, leading him to leave his home.

He also took the opportunity to clear up rumors circulating about his family, particularly regarding the number of children he had. According to him, he had a child before marrying his wife, who had two of her own. They also have a child together, making a total of four children. The rumor about him taking responsibility for five children is false. Furthermore, he clarified that the four children do not stay with them but rather with their grandmother, though they often visit.

Regarding rumors about him messaging people to beg for money, he refuted the claims, stating that he had only messaged a colleague, Mr. Sabinus, who had invited him for a job and offered him money, but he refused. He explained that he felt Mr. Sabinus would understand his situation, but unfortunately, he never replied. Another colleague had convinced him to send the message in the first place, and he had no intention of begging for money from anyone.

He concluded by thanking his fans and colleagues for their efforts while he was away, stating that depression is real, and that he was grateful to be back.
