Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth has ended his marriage with his wife, Elsie.
He announced that he and his wife, Elsie, separated after 12 years of marriage.
He said that after much deliberation, he and his wife have made the difficult decision to end their marriage.
Basketmouth had a child named Amy before he married Elsie. He got married to Elsie in 2010 and they have three children together, Janelle, Jason, and Maya Okpocha.
He has taken to his Instagram page today, December 22, where he assured to peacefully co-parent with his wife in taking care of their children.
He pleaded with the public to respect their privacy.
He wrote, ” For the first and the last time
As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is unavoidable situation
After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.
As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance, and support they need.
We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times.
