The West London derby turned out to be one sided against all odds as Brentford defeated Chelsea 1-4 at Stamford Bridge. The first half was drab affair with both sides creating half chances.

The second half became very open and soon enough Antonio Rudiger scored a scorcher and put chelChe ahead. Brentford equalized shortly after that with a quick counter attack and Janelt fired home. Another counter attack and Bryan Mbuemo played in a low cross and Christian Eriksen slotted home.

Brentford’s rampage continued and Janelt again scored a chip shot and by that time,Chelsea fans were milling out of the stadium. 1-3 the score but Chelsea scored a goal but was eventually ruled out for offside by VAR to Kai Havertz disappointment. Both sides made a couple of changes but Brentford were keen on attacking.

Brentford won a set piece and Rudiger and Tiago Silva miscalculated an air ball and substitute Wissa scored a wonderful half volley to make it 1-4 to Brentford. Chelsea currently sit in third with 59 points. They are currently five points ahead of Arsenal who play tomorrow.
