Charly Boy, the renowned veteran singer and social activist, has made a bold and unconventional promise to stage a naked protest on the streets should the Election Petitions Tribunal rule in favor of Peter Obi.
Recalled the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Tinubu as the winner of the election, who subsequently assumed office as President. However, Peter Obi and the Labour Party have challenged the election’s outcome in court.
In a tweet shared on his official Twitter page, the controversial activist expressed his unwavering support for Peter Obi’s cause. Charly Boy stated that if the Tribunal declares Peter Obi the rightful winner, even before the case reaches the Supreme Court, he will carry out his unique and eye-catching protest by walking naked from one end of Bodillon to Falomo, two prominent locations in the city.
He wrote, “When Tribunal announce say Peter Obi don win even before the case reach Supreme Court, wetin you go do dat day? For me, I go naked waka from one end of Bodillon to Falomo.”
