Certificate Forgery: I Sued Lagos Assembly, Not Tinubu, Says Keyamo

Festus Keyamo, the spokesman for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 elections, said he had not sued ex-Lagos governor Bola Tinubu for alleged counterfeit certificate.

 

“I never sued Tinubu. No. I sued the House of Assembly seeking an interpretation of the law,” Keyamo said in a statement sent to Channels Television on Tuesday.

 

The Minister of State, Labor and Employment was responding to a statement by Daniel Bwala, spokesman for the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organization, who claimed that Keyamo had sued Tinubu  during his first term as governor of Lagos.

 

However, Keyamo said, “Once the Supreme Court makes a decision, the losing lawyer has binding force and is obligated to defend himself in accordance with the court’s decision. not yet), the issue was settled by a decision of the Supreme Court, and from that moment on it is my duty not to defer already resolved issues to the Supreme Court. increase.

“These battles we fought were not fought out of bitterness or hatred,” Keyamo said, “to reveal the truth and the true constitutional authority of the House of Representatives.
