Abuja, Nigeria – Renowned Nigerian cross-dresser, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, recently revealed the reasons behind his recent rejection of many friendship offers. The social media influencer candidly shared his thoughts in a video posted on his Facebook page on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
Bobrisky attributed his decision to a negative past experience with friends. He recounted the numerous instances where individuals extended their hands of friendship towards him but expressed disinterest due to his “boyfriend’s” advice to refrain from maintaining close friendships.
In the video, Bobrisky expressed, “I have been receiving calls from people saying, ‘Oh Bobrisky, let’s hang out, you are in Abuja.’ I’m sorry, we cannot hang out… I don’t like friends. Friends have shown me shege.”
Elaborating further, he shared that his boyfriend had warned him against having friends, encouraging him to remain secluded in his room. Seeking peace and solitude, Bobrisky disclosed that he currently prefers being alone, despite rejecting multiple friend requests. He clarified that his actions were not driven by arrogance but rather a desire for personal tranquility.
It is worth noting that in a previous interview with Toke Makinwa, Bobrisky acknowledged missing his friendship with Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, shedding light on the complexities of his social connections.
