Big Brother Announces Audition For Nigerians And South Africans

A statement released on Wednesday said auditions for the show begin on October 6th, 2022.

Recall that the CEO of Multichoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, had in September announced a merger of housemates from Nigeria and South Africa under one roof.

Tagged the ‘Big Brother Titans’, the special season will be a mix of Big Brother Naija and Big Brother Mzansi with auditions open to Nigerians and South Africans, ages 21 and above.

To audition, interested applicants with valid SA and Nigerian identification must record a two-minute video of themselves stating why Big Brother should pick them to be a Big Brother Titan housemate.

This video must then be uploaded to http://mnet.tv/bigbrothertitans and then contestants must fill out the online registration form. Auditions commence from October 6 – 22, 2022.

The organizers also stated that interested participants must be in excellent physical and mental health and must also submit to physical and psychological examinations by Producers’ selected medical professional(s) in Lagos State.

”If you are selected by the Producers for an interview, you must be willing to travel to Lagos if based in Nigeria and to Johannesburg if based in South Africa at a time as scheduled by the Producers in their sole discretion for the final selection process.

”If you are selected to be interviewed, you may be given and must complete and return (prior to the date of your personal interview), any further application materials (including but not limited to additional psychological and health questionnaires), or documents (such as your birth certificate, passport, and/or other identification) as well as a Medical History form. ”

It added that one participant would receive the grand prize, subject to change at the Producers’ and/or the Broadcaster’s discretion.

Meanwhile, BBNaija ended its seventh edition last Sunday, October 3rd, 2022.

Phyna was crowned winner of the season, walking away with a grand prize of N100 million.
