Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Tega Dominic has lambasted Nigerian celebrities who “support politicians for personal gains.”
The reality TV star chastised her colleagues in the entertainment industry in a series of posts on her Instagram stories.
According to Tega, most celebrities tend to hide behind the oft-said maxim that politics is a game of interest.
She said that such a mentality should be done away with if positive leadership changes are to be achieved.
The reality star added that most of the celebrities supporting the wrong candidates for their own interests could leave the country if things go wrong.
“Politics is a game of interest yen yen yen, sooo una dey carry my future dey play, tor…. Until we kill that game of interest mentality, we will never go anywhere,” she wrote in Pidgin English.
“All these celebrities forming game of interest, I see una, God bless y’all in a different way.. I sha know say e no go better for una, period!
