Popular reality TV star, Tacha Akide, has made headlines once again after revealing that she spent a whopping $30,000 on dental procedures in Dubai.
The 2019 BBNaija participant also disclosed that she recently underwent arm surgery to achieve slimmer arms. These revelations were made during her hosting of the Big Friday Show on Cool FM Nigeria in Lagos.
While conversing with her guest, Caramel Plug, Tacha expressed her amazement at how Nigerians often doubt the exorbitant amounts of money spent by celebrities to maintain their desired lifestyles. She attributed this skepticism to fans’ tendencies to believe what they want to hear, regardless of the truth.
Defending her decision to invest in herself, she further stated, “But you know Nigerians or the fans na, if there is something they want to believe if you like be telling them the truth, they will say that one I hold, I just have to believe and that is okay,” Tacha said.
“No be broke people do body na. If you say I have done it, that is it. I kind of like took off fat (out of my arm) and I fixed my teeth too. So it was just like the only two procedures I did. $10k in my mouth. It is actually $30k. I am mixing it up. So it was just basically for my teeth and my arm. And that was it really.”
