The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has arrived in Enugu State, for a meeting with party stakeholders in the South-East.
Atiku arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport on Tuesday and is expected at the Baze Event Centre, Independence Layout Enugu, the venue of the event.
Atiku also posted his arrival on his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday,Β adding that he felt βgreatβ about his arrival.
He also shared pictures of his arrival, where the state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, welcomed him.

The event is aimed at uniting all Ndigbo for PDP and the presentation of their son, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta Governor, who is Atikuβs running mate.
It was reported the centre was already filled with party faithful from the five states in the South-East, awaiting Atikuβs arrival at the venue.
Some members of the zoneβs PDP caucus like the National Vice Chairman, Ali Odefa, PDP executives, Rep Tobi Okechukwu, representing Oji-River Federal Constituency, and members of the Enugu State Assembly, were already seated for the programme.
Also seated for the event were prominent PDP stakeholders, including the partyβs former spokesman, Oliseh Metuh, ex-Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, Mr Hyde Onuagulichi, and Sen. Uche Ekwunife, amongst others.
