The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has decided to extend its ongoing strike after a series of discussions.
The decision was taken after the National Executive Council, NEC meeting at the union’s headquarters at the University of Abuja on Monday morning.
The meeting which began late Sunday at the University of Abuja’s headquarters of ASUU, ended early Monday morning with the resolution that the strike will be continued.
It could be recalled that ASUU had declared the commencement of a strike on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the University of Lagos.
ASUU strike today ( Monday) enters 196 days.
