South-south bred music artist, Victor AD is our Artist Focus this week.
Born Victor Adere, the singer is renowned for his hit track, “Wetin We Gain” which amassed the highest number of downloads close to 1m on talkGlitz.tv in the last season.
Victor AD hails from Delta state in the South-South of Nigeria and he’s also a graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, Edo state.
Victor AD started doing music at the age of six with musical influence from the likes of Bob Marley, Sunny Ade, Michael Jackson and Lucky Dube.
Victor began his music career professionally in 2014 with the release of the single titled “Jowo” and came to limelight after being featured on Erigga single “Motivation”, a song which he sang the chorus.
Victor released his own single “Wetin We Gain” and it instantly became a hit and a street anthem of which he got signed by Ghana-based record label, Etins Records.
Victor AD is such a talent to reckon with in the industry as he’s ready to take the industry by storm with many accolades awaiting for his amazing effort.
