APC Picks Date For Presidential Primaries, Fixes Nomination Form At N100m  The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved presidential primaries for May 30 and 31 ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Barr Felix Morka, the ruling party’s National Publicity Secretary, revealed this at the end of a closed-door NEC meeting on Wednesday in Abuja.

Morka also announced that the date for governorship primaries has been set for May 18 and that the sale of expressions of interest and nomination papers will begin this Saturday.

The party has also pegged the price for Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2023 presidential election at N100 million.

The decision was taken during the party’s recent emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja,

The party pegged the price of nomination forms for Governorship, Senate and House of Representatives positions at N50 million, N20 million and N10 million, respectively.

It also directed the party’s leadership to sell forms to the physically challenged free of charge.

The NEC meeting of the party was attended by President Muhamadu Buhari and Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
