Hilda Baci, who recently attempted a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, was captured in a viral video alongside influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa as they sat at a table where dog meat was served during a visit to her home state of Akwa Ibom.

Expressing her deep concern, Idimogu took to social media to share a video message, accusing Hilda of engaging in cruelty against animals.

She expressed her disappointment that Hilda, despite receiving support from members of the My Dog & I group and their furry companions during her cookathon, had chosen to consume dog meat.

Idimogu revealed, “Members of My Dog & I group wore their shirts to go and support Hilda, dogs were present at the cookathon to support Hilda. I know that there were about two or three dogs because when my group members went there they made sure to take pictures and videos of every dog there.

Expressing her dismay at the situation, she continued, “Imagine my surprise this evening when I was scrolling through Instagram and stumbled upon a post by Hilda herself, proudly declaring that she was eating dog meat.”

Idimogu had initially been skeptical about supporting Hilda during her cookathon due to her Akwa Ibom background but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, assuming that she was an open-minded chef.

Idimogu further stated, “Hilda in her infinite mercy and wisdom, thought that the best thing for her to do after the world celebrated Nigeria through her relentlessness. And now that the torchlight of the world is on Nigeria through you, you decide that what you want to show the world is that Nigerians are dog eaters? No, no. I’m making this video to refute the fact that Nigerians are not dog eaters.”
