Nigerian award-winning singer and songwriter Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, known well as Adekunle Gold has shared an emotional story about the struggles he had with his health when he was born.

Adekunle Gold has opened up in a letter to his fans disclosing that when he was much younger he struggled with his health because he was born with sickle cell anemia.
Taking to his Instagram page, the βOrenteβ crooner shared a snippet of the music video alongside the lyrics, revealing how he battled with sickle cell.
The singer said he doesnβt look like what he has experienced in the past and would never forget the 90s.
According to the father of one, he begged God for mercy at many nights and he is thankful for how he has been able to scale through this crisis.
He wrote: βSee I donβt look like wetin i don see.
βI will never forget the 90s.
βMany nights I go dey beg for mercy.
βSickle cell been show me crises.
βThank you for the Journey oh lord oh lord.
βIf i say my story o por o por.
βFire cyant cool iβm ever blazing.
