Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has expressed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to upholding excellence and accountability in their service to the Nigerian people. During the ongoing handing/taking over ceremony at Louis Edet House in Abuja, Egbetokun assured Nigerians of his readiness to ensure their security with the support of other security agencies.

Egbetokun emphasized the Force’s dedication to achieving excellence, transparency, and accountability in their operations. He highlighted the importance of adopting a technology-driven approach and utilizing various techniques to optimize resources and enhance effectiveness. Through the implementation of these strategies, the Nigeria Police Force aims to provide efficient security measures for the nation.

Furthermore, the Acting Inspector General of Police emphasized the significance of supporting police officers by addressing their physical and psychological well-being. Plans are underway to introduce programs aimed at strengthening the mental and emotional resilience of every officer.
