A former member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, disclosed what edge the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso has over Bola Tinubu.
Jibrin who is a spokesman for Kwankwaso’s campaign said Kwankwaso has more experience, exposure, and pedigree than Tinubu.
He made this known while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
He also noted that Kwankwaso would do the same thing he did as the Governor of Kano State when he emerge as President.
Jibrin said the qualities of Kwankwaso whom he described as his political mentor are visible for everyone to see.
Jibrin said: “What I have always maintained is that Kwankwaso has an edge, clearly has an edge.
“In terms of experience, in terms of the responsibilities that he’s held, in terms of exposure, in terms of what he has achieved as governor, everything that we are saying, that Kwankwaso is going to do is what he has done as a governor.
“Relating to the case of Bola Tinubu, I have said it much earlier; I’ve never taken back any word I have said about Tinubu, but I have moved to another party, reunited with my political mentor who I have always believed has an edge over them.
“And these things are all things that can be seen clearly.”
